MacroDiet
Macro & calorie tracking that fits in your day: a short setup, daily targets, food logging with barcode scanning, and a dashboard that shows what your weight is actually doing. MacroDiet runs in the browser — nothing to install.
What's in the app
- Food log with barcode scanning and food search — Search and Scan, side by side
- A short guided onboarding that turns your goal into daily calorie and macro targets
- Weight dashboard: weight trend, scale weight, weigh-ins, expenditure, and a first-30-days view
- Your profile and targets, editable as your goal changes
Free calculators, six languages
MacroDiet publishes free macro, calorie (TDEE), and calorie-deficit calculators in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Dutch — no account needed. They are the same math the app uses.
Tools that use the same math
The MacroDiet target algorithm is also published here, as free browser-only calculators that show their working. Each row names the algorithm module the page is built from.
- Macro calculatorzyra-algo v2
Daily calories and protein, fat and carb grams — the full v2 target the onboarding produces, with its warnings.
- Calorie calculatorzyra-algo v2 · BMR, TDEE
BMR by Mifflin-St Jeor, the activity multiplier, and TDEE with maintain / lose / gain targets.
- Calorie deficit calculatorzyra-algo v2 · lose branch
A weekly rate turned into a daily deficit, showing the 35% cap and the calorie floors the algorithm applies.
- Protein calculatorzyra-algo v2 · protein tiers
Grams per day from body weight and a protein tier, the same table the target uses.
The macro, calorie and deficit calculators also live on macrodiet.fit in six languages; the versions here link there. The methodology page writes every formula out with a worked example: how the math works.
